With the release of Mother 3 Shigesato Itoi also unveiled a new line of t-shirts called +LoveT. For a limited time only you could preorder three special edition t's. A red Mother 3 logo t-shirt, a white Franklin Badge t-shirt, and a yellow U.M.A t-shirt.
On the back of each t-shirt reads "Welcome to Mother 3 World" and each order came with a random +Love button. Each t-shirt sold for 3600 yen (about $35). Despite the fact that Itoi's online store is only in Japanese, international orders were still available. That is, if you could navigate through the site. Thankfully an ordering guide was made and English speaking Mother fans could order these awesome duds.
Unlike the others the third t-shirt is not related to the Mother series. It was a special design based off of the little monkey character U.M.A. (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) found on Itoi's website.
